Mission

We will work to reduce the physical suffering and mental anguish of those people who suffer from Fibromyalgia while increasing through education, the understanding and knowledge of those who do not have this condition.

Vision

We will operate Lodges for residents and outpatients suffering from Fibromyalgia and alleviate the physical pain and mental anquish caused by their inability to function successfully in the present world.

Goal

Fibromyalgia Well Spring Foundation will operate a living assisted village which will include health, education, food and recreational facilities in support of Fibromyalgia suffers.

CONSTITUTION

Name

1. The foundation shall be known as the "Fibromyalgia Well Spring Foundation", hereafter the "Foundation".

Purpose

2. The purposes of the Foundation shall be to:

(a) provide long term care for functionally independent persons suffering from fibromyalgia and related illness and conditions,

(b) provide therapy and pain management to persons coping with fibromyalgia and related illness and conditions,

(c) provide counselling services for persons suffering from fibromyalgia and related illness and conditions,

(d) make the public aware of the suffering of persons with fibromyalgia and related illness and conditions,

(e) fund research into the alleviation of fibromyalgia and related illness and conditions,

(f) educate medical professionals and academia in complementary or alternative treatments of fibromyalgia and related illness and conditions.

Business

3. (1) The business of the Foundation shall be carried out without gain for the members of the Foundation.

(2) Profits generated by the business shall remain in the Foundation and shall be used solely to promote the objectives of the Foundation.

(3) This provision is alterable.

Location

4. (1) The Foundation shall restrict its business primarily to the Fraser Valley in the province of British Columbia.
